Nathaniel Hardy
As Team Lead in KPFF’s Birmingham office, Nathaniel Hardy’s experience includes mixed-use development, institutional projects, and work on new and retrofit designs for US Embassies and Consulates across the globe. In addition to extensive experience with post-tensioned concrete, structural design to mitigate against progressive collapse, and physical security engineering for risk-sensitive facilities, Nathaniel has designed several mass timber structures using a combination of cross laminated timber (CLT), glulam framing, and mass plywood panels (MPP).
Jeff Peters Jeff Peters, PE, CGC is the Southeast Regional Director for WoodWorks. Jeff received his bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of Florida in 2007 after serving 5-years in the United States Air Force; he holds a Certified General Contractor’s License and was previously the owner of a small home remodeling business in Central Florida. Jeff has a diverse background that includes structural design, field engineering, threshold inspections and quality control of structures ranging from mid-rise buildings to sporting venues; developed during his time working in the commercial side of the building industry. Prior to joining WoodWorks, Jeff designed high-end custom homes in multiple markets throughout the state of Florida.
He is a dedicated husband to his wife Amber of 16-years and is the proud father of a 9-year-old daughter, Harper and a 7-year-old son Braxton. In his free time, you can find him working in his workshop, coaching his sons’ soccer team, and going on bike rides and adventures with his family.
Keith Cullum
Keith Cullum is a Structural Engineer at Simpson Strong-Tie’s McKinney, TX branch covering the Southeast region of the US where his primary responsibilities include product testing, technical support, education and training, and post-disaster assessment. After graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Architectural Engineering, he worked for a consulting firm in Southern California designing multi- and single-family residential structures out of cold-formed steel and wood. Prior to joining Simpson Strong-Tie in 2012, he worked for a steel deck manufacturer performing R&D and providing product technical support and promotion. He is a LEED Accredited Professional (AP) and a registered Professional Engineer in eight states (AL, AR, CA, KS, MO, MS, TX, and OK).
