Larry Rowland
Company: Heidelberg Materials
Session: Achieving Sustainable, Resilient Structures with Low-carbon Concrete Materials

Larry Rowland serves as the Sustainability Market Manager for Heidelberg Materials, North America. He brings over 35 years of experience in construction and concrete materials. Larry is a Fellow of the American Concrete Institute (ACI), a recipient of the ACI Concrete Sustainability Award, and a recognized expert in cement and concrete sustainability. He has been a LEED® Accredited Professional since 2004 and works with organizations worldwide to advance low-carbon construction practices. Larry regularly educates engineers, architects, contractors, and owners on resilient, low-carbon concrete solutions.

Tim Aho, AIA

Session: Disaster Assistance and Structural Engineers Emergency Response (SEER)

Tim Aho is the President and CEO of Aho Architects, LLC, based in Hoover, Alabama. Since founding the firm in 2007, he has led its growth into a dynamic practice serving clients across the country, with a strong focus on the Southeastern U.S. His work emphasizes innovative and sustainable design for educational and government facilities, along with extensive experience in disaster recovery and assistance.

Tim holds both a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Miami University in Ohio. He is a registered architect in 20 states and holds an NCARB Certificate. A third-generation design professional, Tim continues a family legacy in architecture, blending practical leadership with a deep commitment to resilient and functional design.

Kelly Roberts, P.E., S.E., LEED AP BD+C
Company: Walter P Moore
Session: Sustainable Design & Embodied Carbon: What Structural Engineers Need to Know

Kelly Roberts is a Principal and Managing Director at Walter P Moore’s Atlanta office and the firm’s national Sustainable Design Leader for Structures. She is founding chair of the NCSEA Sustainability Committee and a board member of the Lifecycle Building Center. Kelly is also involved with SE2050, AIA COTE, USGBC, and ACI. Her design portfolio spans major educational, healthcare, and commercial projects. Recognitions include BD+C’s 40 Under 40, Auburn University’s Outstanding Young Engineer, and Engineering Georgia’s 100 Most Influential Women.
